Always athletic but far from naturally bendy, Jenny began her yoga journey studying the ancient yoga texts and schools of philosophy before establishing a physical practice. She found her first home in the Baptiste School of heated Vinyasa where she balanced her athleticism with the discovery of an untapped well of inner fire and an immense appreciation for the physical manifestations of her true mental strength. Following her completion of teacher training, she pursued more learning opportunities to further study the Sutras and the art of meditative physical relaxation via Restorative yoga taught through the lens of the Iyengar tradition. The combination of Power yoga and Restorative yoga trainings has helped Jenny to find a healthy balance not only in her teaching, but also in her personal life. She constantly looks to find strength in the ease and power in the meditative and hopes to help her students do the same. Outside of the studio her hobbies include seeing as much live music as her bank account allows, petting strangers’ puppies on the street, being a Lord of the Rings fanatic and wandering this concrete jungle with friends.
