Lisa is delighted to be joining the Shaw Yoga studio. She is a certified Body Balance Yoga Therapy instructor and has studied with Jenny Otto, the director and founder of Body Balance Yoga, since 2009. Lisa's classes offer many BBY techniques that engage students to practice an asana more biomechanically aligned. A devoted Hatha yoga student since 2003, Lisa's asana and meditation routine nurtures mental, physical, emotional & spiritual wellness and resilience. She is honored and humbled by each yoga instructor who has been a guide and mentor since her first class in 2000. Specifically Lisa thanks, James Kurtz, Anna Pittman, Suzanne McCahill-Perrine and Jenny Otto for fostering yoga programs where she has become a more compassionate teacher and human being.
