Michelle Mae Orr, E-RYT, began a formal yoga practice in 1996. With a loving passion for it, she trained in several yoga and meditation traditions over a long period before she began teaching in 2004. Her certification comes from the Yogaworks tradition of modern asana training. She has managed and taught at many yoga studios in the DC area over the past 10 years, along with corporate and private instruction. She has finally settled into her own yoga business. Her classes reflect the years of experience with many styles of yoga, distilled into a mindful vinyasa method. While they are physically challenging, they are meant for all levels, as modifications and enhancements are given for both beginner's and longtime practitioners, making the classes adaptable for any body type that likes to work. Clients can expect mindful attention to muscular architecture, breath regulation, circulatory strength, balancing the nervous systems, and mastery of awareness.
